About me
I’m Clay Fox, a product designer with 15 years of experience crafting user-centered solutions that drive impact. I’ve led global innovation at EY, helped scale products at Indeed, and worked with companies like Google, Samsung, and Wells Fargo. My expertise spans strategy, UX, visual design, and design systems—always with a focus on making things intuitive, efficient, and delightful.
Originally from Dallas, I’ve lived in San Francisco and now call NYC home. I’ve been obsessed with technology since I was a kid, saving up to buy my first Macintosh by working summers at my dad’s aquarium fish warehouse. That early exposure to business, problem-solving, and hands-on work shaped how I approach design today.
Beyond work, I love exploring the city, photography, film, sports, and tinkering with new ideas. I research everything I buy, fall into YouTube rabbit holes, and mentally redesign apps that frustrate me. I also make toys for my cat.
I’m equally passionate about high-level strategy and hands-on execution. I think in systems, sweat the details, and thrive on solving complex problems with simple, elegant solutions. If you're building something great and need a designer who can lead, mentor, and execute, let’s talk.
